A gentleman found my work online and was especially drawn to a piece inspired by Klimt's The Kiss. He wanted something similar for his wife, who loves cats: a modern, cat version of the Klimt kiss, painted onto a Seiko tank watch he'd chosen as the base.
Layer by layer under the microscope, the familiar gold and pattern work of the original painting took shape again, this time with two cats in place of the embracing couple.
